About
I'm Christian — a software engineer who likes building things that work. I live in Versmold, a small town in northern Germany, with my wife and our two daughters.
During the day I work as a Lead Software Engineer at Fuchs Group, where I lead teams, shape architecture, and deal with the realities of enterprise software. It's the kind of work that teaches you patience, trade-offs, and how to ship things that matter within real constraints.
At night — after the kids are asleep — I build products. My current focus is BidScribe, an AI-powered tool that helps teams respond to RFPs using Retrieval-Augmented Generation. I built it solo from zero to production. Before that I shipped other side projects, always driven by the same itch: seeing an idea become something real.
I'm particularly interested in how AI changes the way we build software — not as a buzzword, but as a genuinely useful tool in the stack. I run autonomous AI agents as part of my workflow and treat them as collaborators, not toys.
When I'm not coding, I'm probably spending time with my family, running, or thinking about the next thing to build.
